Most stories are just different versions of the same truth.

As the Executive Producer and Editor of Can I Get A Little More Me, Mike Dias didn’t just pull this story together—he unlocked it.
This is the film nobody else could have made. Not because the gear was inaccessible, but because the people were. The truth behind the invention of in-ear monitors doesn’t live in patents or press releases. It lives in tour buses, burned friendships, old emails, and memories still too raw for most to say out loud. Until Mike asked.
A former in-ear insider who helped build the market from the inside out, Mike was there when in-ears were still being sold off the back of the bus, when perfectionism clashed with panic, and when the calls came in from artists demanding something better. He knew who was there, what it cost, and why so many walked away unheard. That’s what makes this film different.
Mike didn’t chase interviews—he built the trust infrastructure to let the story unfold. Over years. Through relationships. With reverence. That’s why this isn’t a film about gear. It’s a film about rlatonships, obsession, anxiety, and leadership under pressure—because that’s what the invention actually was.
But Mike’s role in this story runs deeper than film. He has spent two decades at the heart of the in-ear monitor industry—placing gear on the world’s biggest stages, leading global sales teams, and founding IEMITO, the international trade organization that united manufacturers, engineers, and artists around a common standard. As Director of Marketing and Communications and later Sales Director for Ultimate Ears (Logitech), he helped launch the Super.fi, Triple.fi, and UE Live lines, built global ambassador programs, and drove international expansion across Europe, Japan, and China.
Today, Mike brings that rare vantage point to his work as Executive Producer and Narrator of Can I Get a Little More Me. His talks explore innovation, trust, and the culture of performance—showing how collaboration behind the scenes drives what audiences experience on stage. Whether in the edit room or on the keynote stage, Mike ensures the story lands with emotion, precision, and clarity.
Because more than anything, he knows the biggest question isn’t who invented in-ear monitors. It’s why so few people know the truth—and what it means to finally tell it.
